Thom Roe is a Lake Ozark area musician who specializes in finger-style guitar encompassing all genres. He began his career as a musician at the age of 14, playing bass in his brothers band and first picked up a guitar at 17.

In 1972, he made his way to California and started work as a studio musician for the next five years. Upon his return to the Lake area, he began composing music and working as a solo guitarist in a number of restaurants, as well as performing privately for weddings, parties, and concerts.

Over the years Thom has performed with a number of bands, ranging in styles from blues to jazz to rock, playing both guitar and bass guitar. He has produced three albums of his unique finger-style guitar, including Take One, Live at Domenico’s and The Day Before Christmas.

Currently, Thom gives music lessons, including guitar and bass guitar, at his home and at Wilson’s Music in Eldon, Missouri. In addition, he continues his solo career and performs as a guitarist in a jazz duet with Dan Sparks.
